SCPTA Southern Connections Membership Challenge
Set Your Course and Goals
All PTA/PTSA units that submit their membership plan for the 2025-2026 year along with a membership goal that reflects an increase over their 2024-2025 total by the deadline will receive a digital badge and be celebrated on South Carolina PTA social media platforms.
Deadline Sept 30th 2025
Ready, Set, Grow!
PTA/PTSA units that submit at least 30 members by the deadline will receive a digital badge and social media recognition from the South Carolina PTA.
Deadline: Oct 30th 2025
100% Teacher Membership Celebration
PTA/PTSA units achieving 100% teacher membership by the deadline will earn a digital badge and recognition on South Carolina PTA social media platforms and receive recognition at the annual Awards
Deadline: November 30th 2025
Bonus Challenge:100 Days of Togetherness
PTA units that achieve a minimum of 100 members by the 100th day of the 2025-2026 term will earn a digital badge, be recognized on South Carolina PTA social media, and receive recognition at the annual Awards.
Deadline: Nov 30, 2025
Halfway There: Southern Success
Units that report membership totals equal to or greater than their entire 2024-2025 total by December 2025 will receive a digital badge and social media recognition.
Deadline: December 30, 2025
January Jumpstart Initiatives
This challenge invites PTAs/PTSAs to select one out of 26 membership drive initiatives to begin in January. Whether it’s reaching out to parents, organizing events, or launching new recruitment strategies, now is the time to energize your membership efforts!
To participate, simply choose your initiative and share proof of your plan with us via email. All participating units that submit proof of their chosen initiative will receive a digital badge and be celebrated on our social media platforms. Remember, your initiative does not have to be completed in January—just started before the deadline!
Deadline: January 30, 2026
Founders’ Day Membership Challenge
In celebration of Founders’ Day on February 17, PTA units are encouraged to reach out to neighbors, friends, and local businesses to expand their membership. Share your success stories and strategies by the deadline to earn a digital badge and social media recognition.
Deadline: February 28, 2026
Membership Growth Awards
Units that increase membership over their 2025-2026 total will receive awards based on their percentage increase and each unit will receive a digital badge and social media recognition.
Bronze for 1-33%
Silver for 34-66%
Gold for 67-100%
Deadline: March 30, 2025
Above and Beyond Celebration
Any PTA/PTSA unit that earns a minimum of 5 of the incentives by the final challenge deadline of March 30th; will be entered into a drawing for a $100 award, along with a digital badge and recognition on South Carolina PTA social media platforms. Three PTAs will be selected, one Elementary, one Middle, and one High School. **This could change based on qualifying schools**
Also any school with 5 or more badges will be recognized at the spring awards ceremony!

Below are membership template forms that your unit may adapt and use for providing membership information to your staff and community. Some of these templates provide a variety of options to edit. A PDF has fillable form fields that may be customized to your PTA name and information. MS Word and Google Doc versions are also available (You must have MS Word in order to open and edit MS Word documents and you must have a Google account to copy a Google doc version.)
